China's Li delivered video remarks on Oct. 15 at the opening of the new
China–North Korea Yalu River bridge, calling the project a jointly promoted
cross-border infrastructure initiative by Xi and Kim. He said the bridge’s
opening will boost bilateral trade and people-to-people exchanges, and urged
both sides to use the occasion to optimize port customs clearance, improve
connectivity, develop border-area cooperation and enhance residents’ welfare.
