Tinci Materials said construction of its Indonesia lithium‑ion battery electrolyte project at the Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP) is accelerating and is expected to enter trial production in December 2026. The plant, the park’s first lithium‑ion battery electrolyte facility, is planned at 20,000 tons per year and will supply key materials to the local battery supply chain, expanding Tinci’s localized supply capacity in Southeast Asia. The announcement coincided with IWIP events marking the start of nickel downstream projects and the park’s first EV battery export ceremony.
