Saxo Bank's Singapore chief investment strategist Charu Chanana said the Asian
sell-off is less about a sudden deterioration in tech fundamentals than a
re-pricing of the cost of capital. Investors are not questioning AI demand
itself but are increasingly uncertain how much to pay for that growth with
interest rates high, volatile and potentially headed higher.
