At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts declined. Shanghai silver fell over 5%, apples fell nearly 5%, polysilicon and methanol fell over 4%, benzene, lithium carbonate, and eggs fell nearly 4%, while SC crude oil, platinum, asphalt, Shanghai tin, styrene (EB), coking coal, and palm oil fell over 3%. On the upside, container shipping to Europe rose over 2%, and peanuts rose over 1%.
