Sana'a — Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree on the 15th warned Saudi airspace and
airports were "unsafe", excluding Mecca and Medina. Saree said the group has
repeatedly warned airlines and can deliver reciprocal responses to Saudi Arabia
military operations targeting Houthi-held areas. He described Houthi actions as
defensive and said they will continue until Saudi Arabia stops attacks and the
blockade on Houthi-controlled territory. Earlier Saree said the group carried
out no attacks inside Saudi Arabia that day and dismissed Saudi claims that
Medina had been struck as false.
