On the 15th President Trump said the Pentagon will not livestream the execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan. Bipartisan members of Congress had opposed plans to broadcast the execution. Trump wrote on social media that livestreaming might have a strong deterrent effect but many decent people would not want to watch his death “whether via livestream or any other imaging device.” Hasan will be executed as scheduled, but the process will not be livestreamed.
