New South Wales police said a light aircraft crashed near an airport in the
Upper Hunter region on the afternoon of Oct. 16, killing both people on board.
Emergency services received a report of the crash at about 13:55 local time.
Police have sealed the scene, are verifying the victims' identities and have
opened an investigation; the cause has not been released. Specialists will
examine the wreckage and file a report.
