Oct 16 — Following comments by U.S. President Trump that Washington is consulting China and Russia on denuclearization, China's Foreign Ministry said at a routine briefing that the U.S., as a country with a large nuclear arsenal, should bear special responsibilities for nuclear disarmament. It said China's nuclear forces are not on the same scale as those of the United States and Russia, and it would be unfair, unreasonable and not feasible to demand China join such disarmament talks now.
