At midday close, most domestic futures contracts declined. Lithium carbonate fell over 4%, apples fell over 3%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fell nearly 3%, and plastics and nickel fell over 2%. On the upside, silver, industrial silicon, and synthetic rubber rose over 2%, platinum and palladium rose nearly 2%, and alumina, gold, and polysilicon rose over 1%.
