At the midday close, China's domestic main futures contracts were mostly lower:
lithium carbonate fell more than 4%, apple futures dropped over 3%, LPG declined
nearly 3%, and plastics and Shanghai nickel fell over 2%. On the upside,
Shanghai silver, industrial silicon and synthetic rubber gained over 2%;
platinum and palladium rose nearly 2%; aluminum, Shanghai gold and polysilicon
were up more than 1%.
