At a regular briefing, CHINA’s foreign ministry spokesperson said specific
questions should be directed to the relevant Chinese authorities but reiterated
that China does not deliberately pursue a trade surplus. CHINA said it is
willing to strengthen cooperation with India to balance and resolve bilateral
trade and economic concerns and to sustain development of bilateral relations.
