Hong Kong stocks closed higher; HSI +0.52%, Hang Seng Tech Index +1.16%. After opening higher and drifting intraday, the market finished positive. China property names rallied then pulled back—Longfor Group (00960.HK) +6%, CHINA RES LAND (01109.HK) +3%. Construction/cement names rose—Huaxin Cement (06655.HK) +5%. Gold miners led gains—Lingbao Gold (03330.HK) +8%. Optical-communications stock Zhongji Xuchuang (03308.HK) +2%. Strength also in commercial space, Household appliances, batteries, chips and AI sectors. Underperformers included Chinese banks, coal, new-consumer names, lithium, telecom equipment and oil.
