China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has issued more than 150 national standards this year to support its blue-sky, clear-water and clean-soil campaign, with over 80% designated as mandatory. Areas covered include greenhouse gas emissions, Yellow River basin water-use quotas and green mine construction. SAMR says in excess of 100 of these standards have been implemented this year and it will continue to push formulation and implementation of green-development standards.
