On the morning of the 17th, President Sisi said Egypt is prepared to implement
any measures Saudi Arabia requests to protect its security and sovereignty. He
urged parliament to hold a special session to grant the necessary authorization
so Egypt, if requested by Gulf states, can take protective measures and provide
defensive support. Sisi also said his presidential term will end in 2030, saying
that is already confirmed.
