China's National Bureau of Statistics said Jan–Sep fixed-asset investment (excluding rural households) was CNY33.41 trillion, down 7.2% year-on-year. Investment in intellectual property products rose 9.3% YoY. By sector, primary-industry investment was CNY652.7 billion (-3.9%); secondary CNY12.97 trillion (-2.7%); tertiary CNY19.78 trillion (-10.0%). Industrial investment fell 2.8% YoY; mining rose 3.2%, manufacturing fell 2.1% and utilities (power, heat, gas and water) fell 6.8%. Infrastructure investment declined 4.2% YoY; Within infrastructure, information transmission investment rose 30.8%, air transport 13.8% and water transport 13.5%.
