At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Fuel oil rose over 6%, while urea, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), platinum, iron ore, and manganese silicon rose over 1%. On the downside, apples fell over 4%, ethylene glycol (EG) fell nearly 3%, coking coal and eggs fell over 2%, and live pigs, bottled chips, and caustic soda fell nearly 2%.
