On Sunday, Trump publicly endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and stated that if Israel elects a different leader, the US might have to take further action against Iran itself. Later that day, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi responded on social media: "The last time you wanted to 'finish the problem completely,' Iran became stronger than before. Want to try your luck again? Go ahead, but be careful; we also have unfinished business!" He added, "Netanyahu, in order to avoid imprisonment, is pushing the US into another war, completely disregarding the consequences for Israel, let alone the consequences for the US president."
