Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi: The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) convened in Iraq, marking the first time in 45 years that the meeting has been held in Iraq. During the meeting, I met with Iraqi Prime Minister Zaidi, the foreign ministers of Iraq, Egypt, and Turkey, the newly appointed OIC Secretary-General, and other dignitaries. Under the leadership of Iraq and with the guidance of the experienced Secretary-General, we look forward to the OIC playing a positive role in addressing the challenges facing the Islamic world and resolving differences.
