South Korean regulators said Solidigm, the US unit of SK Hynix, could breach
domestic limits on dual listings if it pursues an IPO in the United States.
Financial Supervisory Service Governor Lee Chan-jin said authorities are
reviewing whether a US listing would require scrutiny under Korean law and that
both the FSS and the Financial Services Commission view the move as potentially
violating dual-listing rules; officials are monitoring the issue with regard to
protecting SK Hynix minority shareholders.
