At its 2026 interim results briefing, Hongbo New Materials said a partnered
nano-silicon project is undergoing orderly pilot-scale testing. The technical
route differs from the industry mainstream and is highly innovative; whether or
when it will enter commercial production is undecided and contingent on project
progress. R&D remains at pilot stage and successful scale-up is uncertain and
faces challenges.
