Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on the 19th that Russia carried out
multiple rounds of attacks, firing 16 ballistic missiles and deploying more than
200 drones, and that Ukraine again received no prior warning from partners. He
said the strikes targeted Kyiv city and Kyiv region and extended from Kharkiv
and Dnipropetrovsk regions to western Volyn and Rivne and southern Odesa. The
attacks caused casualties, damaged more than 10 energy infrastructure sites and
cut power to at least 550,000 households; medical clinics, schools, metro
stations and residential buildings were also hit.
