On Oct 19 at the 2026 Financial Street Forum opening, CSRC chairman Wu Qing said 1H listed companies posted revenue of 37.7 tln yuan and net profit of 3.6 tln yuan, up 19.5% YoY and the highest in three years. Year-to-date dividends and buybacks totaled 2.1 tln yuan, 2.7x the amount raised via IPOs and refinancing over the same period.
