According to a Qatari statement, Qatar’s energy minister met on Monday with Iran’s acting oil minister to discuss energy cooperation. Qatar said it needs to repair losses from recent months of US‑Iran clashes after Iran attacked its large Ras Laffan liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant, causing a sharp drop in output.
