President Trump told a Monday rally in Park City, Kansas, he plans to withdraw an earlier threat to boycott Canada-based Bombardier after learning the company employs local workers, saying he does not want to harm those jobs. Trump was campaigning for GOP Senator Roger Marshall, who faces a tougher-than-expected re-election fight ahead of November midterms. Trump did not name Bombardier, but the event was near Wichita, home to Bombardier’s U.S. headquarters; last week the company said it would invest $50 mln in its Wichita operations.
