The State Council Information Office said at a press briefing that China’s
equipment industry value added rose 7.1% YoY in the first three quarters,
contributing 26.6% to industrial growth. High-end equipment supply strengthened:
industrial robot production +29.1% YoY, CNC machine tool production +13.5% YoY,
new-energy vehicle production +11% YoY. Shipbuilding completions were up 50.7%
YoY.
