According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghae, in response to a question about Iraq's initiative to convene a joint meeting between Iran and the Gulf states, and whether Tehran was prepared to push for its implementation, stated that Iran remains willing to engage in dialogue and interaction with regional countries. The most recent related initiative was the Salara Conference, but it was blocked at the last minute. Iran still considers the proposal for a joint meeting between the Gulf states, Iran, and Iraq to be a good one. Overall, Iran supports all initiatives and proposals that contribute to strengthening mutual trust among regional countries.

MIIT chief engineer Wang Weiming said China’s small and micro enterprises still face weak orders, high costs and staffing shortages, requiring stepped-up support. The ministry will build a national SME service network and a fast-response, high-efficiency service system, deepen collaboration across large, medium and small firms, and pilot industry-level specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative empowerment centers. MIIT will accelerate establishment of Phase II of the National SME Development Fund to attract more patient capital into seed- and early-stage firms so more potential companies receive support to scale.
