Micron Technology said it will invest in critical-minerals processing and
high-purity materials manufacturing to support Indium Corporation's capacity
expansion in central New York, restarting domestic processing of minerals
essential for advanced semiconductor fabrication. The investment is part of a
plan Micron announced in July to invest up to $3 billion to bolster the US
semiconductor supply-chain ecosystem.
