Shanxi reports 220 coal mines have completed rectification and resumed production. Since the Sept. 26 provincial coal safety and supply meeting, restart activity has accelerated and raw coal output has risen: September daily average production was about 220,000 tons higher than August, and daily output recovery has further quickened in October. Provincial authorities say they will pursue systematic remediation and strict supervision to uphold safety standards and secure coal supply for the upcoming winter heating season.
