Iranian parliament speaker Ghalibaf met Pakistan army chief Asim Munir and said
Iran's deep distrust of the US remains; only implementation of the seven
conditions Tehran presented in New York would restore trust. He accused the
Trump administration of breaching a memorandum of understanding with Islamabad,
warned that threats or military action cannot change Iran's strategic decisions,
and said Iran is not bellicose but is prepared to defend its sovereignty and
national dignity. Ghalibaf thanked Pakistan for support during the conflict and
negotiations. Munir said the Iran-Pakistan border will reopen with immediate
effect.
