Oct 21 — CSRC official Shang Qingjun said at the 2026 Financial Street Forum
that the Beijing Stock Exchange, which opened with 81 companies, now has 351
listed firms and has supported roughly 90 bln yuan of SME financing.
National-level "specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative" "little giant"
firms account for over 60% of listings, high-tech firms over 90%, and strategic
emerging industries over 80%, with notable clusters in new materials, high-end
equipment and new-generation information technology. More than 3,000 public
mutual fund products are investing in the BSE and qualified investor accounts
total about 11.7 million, roughly three times the level at launch. Since the
BSE’s establishment, the NEEQ has added over 1,400 newly listed companies —
nearly half national-level "little giant" firms — and raised more than 16 bln
yuan.
