The Financial Times, citing three sources familiar with the matter, reported that Israel plans a large-scale attack on Iran on October 10-11, an attack that would last for several days and be more intense than the attack that occurred in February of this year. Military analyst MoloMonitor commented: “While the Financial Times is generally very reliable, I am skeptical of this report. In reality, military officials would never disclose past operational plans, even if they were never implemented. Doing so could provide intelligence to the enemy, letting them know which signals to watch for in order to anticipate future attacks. Therefore, I believe this is all part of Israel’s strategy to deceive Iran, much like Israel is currently doing through its high-intensity probing operations in Iraqi airspace almost daily.”
