At midday close, most domestic futures contracts declined, with container shipping to Europe down nearly 8%, lithium carbonate down over 4%, polysilicon down over 3%, palladium down nearly 3%, and caustic soda, fuel oil, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) down over 2%. On the upside, nickel rose over 3%, jujubes, ethylene glycol (EG), and stainless steel (SS) rose over 2%, and tin and asphalt rose nearly 2%.
