The Banking Wealth Management Registration and Custody Center said in its Q3
2026 quarterly report that banks and wealth managers issued 10,300 new
wealth-management products in Q3, raising 19.09 trillion yuan. At end-Q3, 147
banks and 32 wealth managers had 54,300 active products with total outstanding
balance of 35.37 trillion yuan, up 10.08% YoY. Products generated 141.7 billion
yuan in investor returns in Q3; banks accounted for 16.5 billion and wealth
managers 125.2 billion.
