According to Saudi media outlet Hadas, diplomatic sources stated that Iranian official Rezaei informed Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Mohsen Rezaei that Tehran was aware that Trump and Netanyahu were planning a new round of strikes against Iran. The main purpose of the meeting between Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Asim Munir and Iranian official Mohsen Rezaei was to de-escalate tensions. Rezaei demanded that Pakistan accept seven conditions proposed by Tehran before any negotiations on the nuclear issue could begin. Pakistani Army Chief of Staff Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan would not compromise on national security issues.
