SAMR Director Liu Guiping on Oct. 21 met a visiting delegation led by European Commission competition director-general Antony Huilan. They exchanged views on recent developments in China-EU antitrust legislation and enforcement and agreed to deepen cooperation on competition policy and antitrust enforcement to uphold fair competition in international markets. On the same day SAMR Deputy Director Shu Wei and Antony Huilan held the 2026 China-EU competition policy dialogue and a dialogue on fair competition review and state-aid control.
