Meta Platforms (META.O) raised 2026 capital expenditure guidance to $135–145
billion from a prior $130–135 billion range and announced a new non‑voting share
class. The company said it will distribute the new shares to existing holders as
a stock dividend—effectively a 2-for-1 split—and expects the shares to begin
trading in January. Meta said the non‑voting class will be available for
fundraising, employee compensation and potential acquisitions, underscoring
continued heavy investment in AI. Meta reported Q3 revenue of $64.6 billion
versus consensus $63.334 billion and guided Q4 revenue to $73–76 versus billion
analysts’ $73.6 billion estimate.
