At midday closing, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Caustic soda fell over 5%, apples fell over 4%, lithium carbonate and palladium fell over 3%, and silver and alumina fell nearly 3%. On the upside, styrene (EB) rose over 3%, methanol, fuel oil, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), and benzene rose over 2%, and SC crude oil rose nearly 2%.
