Oct 22 — MOFCOM Vice Minister Jiang Chenghua said at a State Council Information Office briefing that China will promote an open AI ecosystem and work with other countries to jointly develop international economic and trade rules for artificial intelligence. He added that during the 15th Five‑Year Plan period China will defend a WTO‑centered trading system, deepen multi‑ and bilateral trade cooperation, expand a global network of high‑standard FTAs, and actively lead rulemaking in digital and green sectors.
