MOFCOM’s head of the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation Zhao Chunfeng told a State Council press briefing on Oct. 22 that China had 58,000 overseas direct‑investment enterprises established across 189 countries and regions as of end‑2025. He said the ministry will study additional practical policy measures focused on legal, financial and logistics support and will deepen coordination with relevant industry regulators to expand and improve services for firms’ outbound operations.
