Oct. 22 — China Dairy Association deputy secretary-general Zhou Zhenfeng said at
the 2026 New Consumption Industry Conference that expanding and upgrading dairy
consumption requires new consumption scenarios and deeper integration into daily
life. He called for developing customized semi-finished products and ingredients
targeted at tea drinks, coffee, baking and Western-style restaurants to expand
dairy use in freshly prepared beverages and restaurant applications, and
promoted a “dairy + catering + cultural tourism” fusion to shift dairy from a
basic daily staple toward experiential, social and cultural consumption formats.
