Houthi forces said they carried out multiple ballistic missiles and drone strikes inside Saudi Arabia over the past 48 hours, hitting four targets: the defense ministry building in Riyadh (claimed direct hit); King Fahd International Airport in Dammam (claimed to have disrupted flights); an ARAMCO facility in Yanbu (claimed direct hit and fire); and Abha International Airport (claimed direct hit). The statement said the strikes were retaliation for what it described as more than 2,900 Saudi air and missile attacks on Yemen over the past 100 days that caused about 562 casualties, mostly women and children. The group warned it will continue strikes on deeper Saudi targets and escalate further until Saudi Arabia stops military action and lifts its blockade on Yemen, saying it will respond to blockade with blockade and to escalation with escalation and hold Saudi Arabia responsible for ensuing consequences.
