Data from public fund tracker GongmuPaipaiwang showed that as of Oct. 22, 2026 China’s public mutual fund-of-funds (FOF) market has issued 166 FOFs year-to-date, with aggregate issued units of 152.07 bln and aggregate units raised at cutoff of 144.30 bln; all three metrics are record highs. In 2025, 90 FOFs were issued with 84.53 bln issued units and 64.59 bln units raised. Year-to-date issuance count is up 84.44% versus full-year 2025, aggregate issued units are up 79.9% and units raised at cutoff are up 123.4%. Of the 166 new FOFs, 119 were fully subscribed (71.69%) and 13 were oversubscribed.
