At midday close, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Fuel oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose over 6%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 5%, propylene rose nearly 5%, polypropylene rose nearly 4%, and benzene, SC crude oil, synthetic rubber, and eggs rose over 3%. On the downside, Shanghai silver fell over 5%, caustic soda fell over 3%, and Shanghai gold and platinum fell over 2%.
