Iranian conservative politician Abutalebi said U.S. efforts over decades to
erode Iranian national unity or alter its political system have backfired,
strengthening cohesion and paving the way for Iran to bolster state power and
expand its regional and international influence. He said Iran is committed to
building a stable, secure future for regional states without foreign
interference and warned the U.S. must avoid any actions that could even slightly
damage national unity.
