Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani stated that Tehran is implementing a "zero inflation" plan, and other regions of the country can also adopt similar measures using existing resources to alleviate the burden on people's lives. He noted that about two years ago, the late Supreme Leader of Iran emphasized the need to stabilize the prices of 10 to 11 basic commodities. Zakani pointed out that developing downstream oil industries and shifting from crude oil exports to the production of petroleum products is one way to mitigate the impact of sanctions. He also stated that due to rising oil prices, Iran's oil revenues have exceeded budget expectations, and the main issue now is how to plan for the remainder of the year, especially the second half, regarding funding sources.
