Valery Gerasimov, chief of the Russian General Staff, said on Oct. 23 Russian
forces will observe a ceasefire in the Kherson direction and enter a "silent"
state from 04:00 Moscow time on Oct. 27 to support humanitarian operations in
Oleshky district, Kherson region. On Oct. 24, Russian Foreign Ministry
ambassador-at-large Miroshnik said it is "hard to judge" whether the Oleshky
