In a TV interview on Oct. 23, Israeli Prime Minister NETANYAHU said he is
considering using cryptocurrency to evade economic sanctions imposed by other
countries. Rival Gadi Eizenkot responded the next day on social media, saying
NETANYAHU’s proposal risks international isolation, would invite economic
sanctions, threaten the national economy and markets, and constitutes a national
security threat.
