In a post‑hoc analysis presented at ESMO on Sunday, Pfizer reported that a subgroup of less‑heavily pretreated patients receiving the drug in combination showed survival more than two months longer than the chemotherapy control. Pfizer, which acquired the asset when it bought Seagen for $43 bln and had expected it to be a first‑in‑class product, said it will continue to pursue development and combination strategies.
