If Iran is attacked, US interests anywhere in the world will be considered legitimate targets for Iranian strikes. Salemi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran's position on any military aggression by the US and Israel is very clear. Salemi stated that Iran had previously warned that if attacked, the war would expand to the entire region. At that time, US interests around the world, as well as the energy infrastructure in the region that supports the US, could all be considered legitimate targets for Iranian strikes.
