Relevant Chinese departments have begun work to draft a mandatory standard requiring vehicles to be fitted with C‑V2X (cellular V2X), an anonymous C‑V2X industry practitioner said. A working group has been formed with dozens of organizations participating, and commercial/operational vehicles are being prioritized for early installation. Fan Ju, vice general manager at CITIC Kezhilian Technology Co., Ltd., said further policy and regulatory support could move China’s C‑V2X sector from pilot demonstrations into a phase of rapid growth.
